From Metal to Natural

Artistic Composite Restoration of Three Posterior Teeth

Posterior teeth before treatment. Old amalgam filling and fissure decayBefore
Result after replacing metal filling with composite restorations. Natural lookAfter
Problem

The patient came in with an old amalgam (metal) filling on a molar that had been there for years. Over time, the seal between the filling and the tooth had broken down, allowing bacteria to penetrate underneath. The neighboring teeth also showed staining and early decay in the fissure grooves. A sign that the damage was spreading.

Solution

All three teeth were carefully treated in a single session. The old amalgam was removed, all decay was cleaned out, and the teeth were restored with artistic composite restorations. Each restoration was shaped to replicate the natural anatomy of the tooth: the cusps, the grooves, the subtle surface texture that makes a tooth look like a tooth.

Result

Three teeth that look and function as if they were never damaged. The restorations are virtually invisible. No dark lines, no metallic glint, no flat surfaces. Just natural anatomy restored with precision.

#ceramic crowns

Ceramic Crowns on Posterior Teeth

Smile Restoration in Two Visits

Upper premolars with destroyed fillings and secondary caries before treatmentBefore
Finished ceramic crowns on a gypsum model showing ideal anatomy and precise fitModel
Result: all-ceramic crowns cemented, natural appearance and full function restoredAfter
Problem

The patient presented with failing old fillings on upper posterior teeth. Extensive secondary caries and failed restorations that could not be re-filled. The teeth were sensitive to temperature and the patient experienced discomfort while chewing.

Solution

Two all-ceramic pressed crowns were fabricated and adhesively cemented. Each crown reproduces the individual anatomy and shade of the patient's natural teeth.

Result

Full restoration of chewing function and aesthetics. The ceramic crowns are indistinguishable from natural teeth. Natural colour, anatomical shape, correct contact points. The patient noted complete absence of discomfort and confidence while chewing from day one.

#dental implants

Implants for a missing lower segment

Two zirconia crowns on implants restore function and comfort

Missing teeth in the lower-left segment before implant treatmentBefore
Two integrated implants in the shaped gum, ready for permanent zirconia crownsModel
Result: two zirconia crowns on implants restoring the lower-left segmentAfter
Problem

The patient came in with missing teeth in the lower-left segment. The gap had been there for some time, making it hard to chew on that side and reducing everyday comfort. Left unaddressed, neighbouring teeth tend to drift and the bone in the empty area gradually resorbs.

Solution

Two titanium implants restored with permanent zirconia crowns. The gum was first shaped with temporary restorations, then the final crowns were fixed once the implants had fully integrated.

Result

The missing lower-left segment is fully rebuilt. The zirconia crowns are indistinguishable from natural teeth in colour and shape, and the patient regained full chewing function, aesthetics and comfort.

A Failing Crowned Tooth, Rebuilt with an Implant

Extraction of a cracked, cystic tooth and a zirconia crown on an implant

Severely destroyed tooth under an old crown, fractured root with a cyst before treatmentBefore

Result: a zirconia crown on the implant, indistinguishable from the natural teethAfter
Problem

The patient came in with a tooth that had been crowned years earlier. Beneath the old crown the tooth had split and a cyst had formed at the root. The structure was too compromised to save. Left in place, a tooth like this stays a source of chronic infection.

Solution

The hopeless tooth was replaced with a titanium implant and a permanent zirconia crown, a fixed restoration that looks and works like a natural tooth.

Result

A tooth that is impossible to tell apart from the natural ones beside it. Full chewing function restored, the chronic infection gone, and the neighbouring teeth left completely untouched.

#zirconia crowns

Rebuilding Over-Filled Teeth with Zirconia Crowns

Teeth held together by large fillings, restored for the long term, shown two years on

Posterior teeth restored with large fillings, at risk of fracture and secondary cariesBefore
Result two years after fitting all-zirconia crowns: natural shape, colour and function restoredAfter
Problem

The patient's posterior teeth had been patched repeatedly with large fillings. Fillings that big never restore proper function, and they leave the tooth at real risk of fracture and of new decay creeping in at the margins.

Solution

Result

Function and aesthetics fully restored, with a long-term prognosis. The photograph shows the teeth two years after the crowns were fitted: stable, healthy and natural-looking, with no sign of the earlier problems.

Immediate Implant for a Destroyed Tooth

Extraction and same-session implant placement, finished with a zirconia crown

Severely destroyed tooth before extraction and immediate implant placementBefore
Healing abutment on the integrating implant, shaping the gum before the final crownDuring
Result: a zirconia crown on the implant, matching the natural neighbouring teethAfter
Problem

The patient presented with a badly destroyed tooth. So little sound structure remained that it could not be rebuilt. A tooth in this state cannot be restored; the only question is how best to replace it.

Solution

The destroyed tooth was removed and replaced with a titanium implant in a single session, then finished with a permanent zirconia crown.

Result

The lost tooth is fully replaced. The zirconia crown on the implant is indistinguishable from the natural teeth around it, and full chewing function and comfort are restored.

#full-mouth rehabilitation

Full-Mouth Rehabilitation

Complex bite pathology and broken-down teeth, rebuilt with therapy, implants and ceramics

Worn, decayed and discoloured teeth with a disturbed bite before full-mouth rehabilitationBefore
Result: a restored, even and natural smile after full-mouth rehabilitationAfter
Problem

The patient came in with a complex, long-standing problem: a disturbed bite together with worn, discoloured and broken-down teeth across the whole mouth. Decay, old failing restorations and missing teeth had combined to affect both function and appearance. A case like this cannot be solved one tooth at a time; it needs a plan for the whole mouth.

Solution

A staged full-mouth rehabilitation combining therapeutic treatment, implantation and ceramic restorations on both teeth and implants.

Result

A complete rehabilitation on ceramic crowns over teeth and implants. Function and aesthetics are fully restored with a long-term, positive prognosis: a comfortable bite, a natural, even smile, and teeth the patient can rely on again.
