From Metal to Natural
Artistic Composite Restoration of Three Posterior Teeth
Before
AfterThe patient came in with an old amalgam (metal) filling on a molar that had been there for years. Over time, the seal between the filling and the tooth had broken down, allowing bacteria to penetrate underneath. The neighboring teeth also showed staining and early decay in the fissure grooves. A sign that the damage was spreading.
All three teeth were carefully treated in a single session. The old amalgam was removed, all decay was cleaned out, and the teeth were restored with artistic composite restorations. Each restoration was shaped to replicate the natural anatomy of the tooth: the cusps, the grooves, the subtle surface texture that makes a tooth look like a tooth.
Three teeth that look and function as if they were never damaged. The restorations are virtually invisible. No dark lines, no metallic glint, no flat surfaces. Just natural anatomy restored with precision.
